Yes, Friend, sport is for everyone!

Thank you for joining the call for equal access to sport for every Australian with disability.

paralympics

Friend, you are helping to create a more inclusive society for people with disability.

A huge twenty percent (20%) of Australians have a disability. Thank you for standing up for Fair Play for All Australians with disability to participate in sport and compete at the Paralympic Games.

Your Paralympians need you on their side.

The next Paralympic Games is coming up in 18 months in Paris, in 2024. Will you help us get them to the Games?

Para-athletes face the same intense training schedule as able-bodied athletes, but they face many more barriers. The biggest inequality affecting Paralympians is the much higher costs of competing.

  • Para-athletes incur extra costs for their sport equipment, which is often customized for their sport and for their disability.
  • Athletes with disability often require accessible transport and travel – which requires more planning, more logistics, more time and more expense.
  • Paralympians also need to fund the support staff or guides that travel and compete with them.

The road to the Paralympic Games is long, difficult, and expensive.

Most Paralympians are self-funded. That's why they need your help.
